Liza's Mission Statement

Our mission is simple! Liza’s Lids supports women dealing with hair loss and other side effects of cancer treatment. It offers a wide variety of head coverings such as wigs, hats, prostheses, bandannas and scarves free of charge.

Below is a Photograph of a Liza's Lids Donation Cylinder which contains (12) hats, (12) scarves and (12) Bandanna's totally 36 head coverings. Every Hospital receives 1 Cylinder a month or as needed.

Big or Small lets save them all!

This mission includes increasing awareness through information and education, providing locations where free mammograms are offered in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Every three minutes a woman in the United States learns she has breast cancer.

These women suffer from a variety of side effects, both physical and emotional, that can make it difficult, uncomfortable and sometimes impossible to deal with these changes in a manner that encourages self-confidence and generates the will to fight. Liza’s goal is to give these women the necessary items and support to allow them to pursue their treatment and recovery with dignity, and for them to ultimately become a fellow SURVIVOR.

Liza‘s Lids of Montgomery County, Maryland nonprofit organization that is a 501(c) (3) not-for –profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service and all donations are tax deductible.

Liza's Lids.org is entirely supported by private (individual, corporate and charity) contributions that allow us to provide woman who are currently undergoing current treatment such as chemotherapy and radiation due too cancer diagnosis with a variety of head coverings.
